Wren Kitchen Question

I’ll be fitting our new Wren kitchen soon and decided to go for the option of a splashback between the worktop and underside of the wall units rather than tiling. Where the cooker hood will be situated between two wall units, the splashback will continue vertically behind the hood to the height of the wall units (as shown in one of the demonstrated kitchens in the showroom).
