70cm Gas Hob into existing 60cm worktop hole

I apologise now if this has been asked before - I did try to search but nothing came up.

I'm hoping to get a 5-burner gas hob to replace my existing 4-burner hob. I realise the 5-burners are wider, but I've seen it on a website against the specifications that a (this particular) hob could fit into a 60cm hole. It this generally correct, only certain hobs will fit or will this just not happen?
