I'm due to fit a kitchen where the units need to be an extra 50mm away from the wall - there is a mix of low and full-height units. The wall itself is pretty flat, but is render/plaster and have a couple of waves. What would be best practice for getting the units fitted?
I was intending to:
1. Screw 50mm thick baton to wall running horizontally, just below where the worktop will fit.
2. Position first unit and screw to baton.
3. Position next unit, screw to first unit, then screw to...
