Kitchen Hood Extractor problem

View attachment 26167 View attachment 26168 View attachment 26169 Hi-we moved into a house where new kitchen had been fitted in a newly built extension. The extractor kit looks poorly fitted to our inexperienced eye. The ‘pipe/tube’ looks more like a tumble dryer tube and the external vent has been fitted facing down out of the fascia rather than through the actual wall.
We get a heck of a draft during winter and want to fix if possible.
