Kitchen Wall Cabinet Adjustment Screws

I could just pull them off the wall and find out for sure... but that would make too much sense

On a standard wall cabinet adjuster one adjustment screw does vertical and one does horizontal.

Question is what should clockwise on each on do? Vertical clockwise higher and horizontal clockwise towards the edge the adjuster is on?
