Hey guys, just building up a kitchen unit for a van and just done the cut out for the induction hob.
It would be nice to route this out so it’s flush with the worktop, but I’m unsure if I’ll have issues with water ingress around the sides etc. it’s a bamboo worktop that’s 16mm thick and the hob would need sinking in about 6mm which doesn’t leave much meat. However space underneath to add some additional timber for a bit more strength.
