Hi All
My daughters inherited kitchen has oak worktops that I believe have an oiled finish
anyway, prior to her living there, they have obviously had little to no maintenance and are in need of a clean and oiling, as they are very sticky and have quite a few stains etc
I'm not trying to get them looking brand new, just a bit cleaner and not sticky
a bit of googling says to clean with a mild detergent or meths/white spirit then sand then apply several coats of danish oil as per instructions...
