Hi all - got a cooker with an extractor hood with round outlet of 150mm.(well it goes from rectangle to adapt to a round one)
So, do I drill 150mm through bricks to outside (angle it down to the outside slightly to stop moisture going in) ? And then get 150mm flexi duct pipe with one of those 'gravity' vents cowels.?
Is that sufficient to keep noise/moisture/creatures out , or is there something else I need after the flexi pipe ? If so, what is it?
There than that, does the above sound...
Just checking on best practise kitchen cooker vent duct to outside
