Have just had a small new kitchen fitted and its great.
I need to do the floor (2.2m x 2.4m), but the house is very old and the floorboards are a bit uneven.
It was suggested by the fitter to put down 5.5mm (or 6mm) ply 1st, then thin under lay, then 4mm LVP. (planks not tiles)
I put a long spirit level across and the difference is no more then 3mm over 2m span.
Being a Kitchen, the Vinyl stuff sounds better than laminate as its water proof, but I see there is flexible and rigid stuff....
