Acrylic splashbacks

Hi All,

Just wondering what people think to acrylic splash backs? I'm weighing them up vs Tiles.

My queries really are how easy they are to cut for sockets etc?

Do they last over time?

Are they better with polished edges or a framing bead around them?

How would they work around windows?
