Hi I've just had laminate laid, and a freestanding washer dryer (850mm height) and new worktops delivered
I hoped to sit the washer dryer next to existing carcasses, back facing, with the new worktops joined above, straddling both.
Issue is the laminate means the washer dryer is now too tall at 850mm, where as the adjoining carcass top sits 846mm from.the laminate, with the existing worktop flush to a window trim.
Do I ask a carpenter to raise the whole new worktop, above the window...
Raising worktop vs lowering washer dryer?!!
