I'm about to have a new kitchen fitted. The floor is solid concrete, and I plan to use LVT as flooring. My builder will put down a layer of screed, before laying down the LVT (it already has insulation glued to the back of the planks).
My preference was to cover the entire kitchen floor with LVT planks, including under the units. My builder suggested not putting the LVT under the units, and instead have it just go slightly beyond the base unit plinths. I think it's to save money...
