Gas hose, safe to pull out cooker?

I need to replace the fan motor in the oven of our range.

I've no problem doing the work, but obviously I need to pull out the cooker, which hasn't moved for several years.

I won't be touching the gas supply, however the bayonet hose to the hob may be pulled or moved slightly. As it's stood for so long, is it safe to assume I won't cause a leak in doing so?
