I spent a good twenty minutes cleaning my 4-burner gas hob the other day. And it wasn't very dirty. (I think I'd fried some eggs, and boiled a few pans of vegetables and pasta since the last clean.)
So I've started to consider replacing it with an induction hob. Not burning gas in my kitchen seems like a good idea from a health and indoor air-quality perspective. Induction hobs apparently give you better temperature control. And they seem like they'd be a lot easier to keep clean and tidy...
