Worktop fitting

I’m currently fitting a kitchen with laminate worktops being the next step (customer ordered the wrong length so got a bit of a delay until I can get finished ). It’s been awhile since I’ve fitted worktops so just looking for some advice. The worktop is 610mm wide but my jig (trend kwj700) has peg holes for 600mm and then 616mm…I’m sure anyone doing this regular is familiar. What’s the best way to set the jig in this case?
