I doing a job on my own kitchen at the moment. I just removed a knackered integrated microwave and I cannot afford an integrated replacement so would like to use a cheap freestanding one.
The spec for the freestanding one says I must have a 5 cm gap on one side of the microwave and that the other side should be totally open.
The hole in the cabinet I intend to put it in means I have about a 7cm gap in total for ventilation around the sides. This would give 3.5cm in total on one...
Can I put a standalone microwave in this gap?
