Tiling dilemma...gap between worktop

Hi all,

Looking to do some tiling and was advised to remove the bevelled upstand first as to give a flusher edge. On doing this, it's exposed a gap of 13mm between the worktop and the wall. Any advice on what I can do now is greatly appreciated!
