I've seen these kitchen features sometimes called cooker "mantles" or "canopies" that add a nice feature to the cooker area and also conceal unsightly extractor hoods, but I can't find any plans or videos for how to actually build one, and what the stages are. I've got a few questions:
1. Are these built after the cabinets are installed, and before the worktop goes on?
2. Are these usually framed out of 2x3 or 2x4? Or neither?
3. Is it common to add plywood to the sides before...
