We've got an awful black and beige tiled checker board kitchen floor going on that is just ugly. Our units are perfectly fine and my husband isnt budging on changing them any time soon so my question is, can I re-tile the kitchen floor with nicer plain tiles without removing any of the units. I feel if i can change the tiles and paint a nice colour this will transform the whole space.
From what I can see, I don't think the tiles go under the units but if they did what would the solution be?...
