supporting undermount sink with wooden frame prior to worktop install

Hi All,

Apologies if this has been asked previously but I struggled to find my exact question in the search.

I am looking to provide some support for my undermount stainless steel Sink in my kitchen prior to the worktop installers coming. (Really dislike the clips that came with the sink so would prefer to do this with wood)

My question is, do i need to recess the sink down below the top of the carcass by a couple of mm to allow for the silicone bead or should I just make it flush to the...
