I'm trying to upgrade a kitchen by replacing the kitchen units doors. In doing so the existing doors and hinges were removed with the intention of replacing both. In removing the old hinges the surrounding timber in the cabinet(s) has started to degrade/fall apart ( typical 'bog-standard' chipboard with HDPE cover ). What high strength 'filler' could I use to pack-out/fill-in/stabilise the timber, so that I could consider redrilling the timber in order to screw-in the new door hinges ??...
