I'm currently working on the kitchen and before fitting new wanted to ask about floor levelling. In most places the old vinyl flooring is sound, fixed well and level. Its floor boards with a ply covering and then vinyl. The intention was to lay a underlay, under floor heating and then a 8mm laminate floor on top of the existing floor covering which I believe to be fine.
