We have a valid electrical safety certificate confirming that the cooker connection has been tested and passed.
However there is no cooker connection box on the wall. Rather there is a cable that protrudes from the wall close to the floor. The power to this cable is controlled by a switch above the worktop.
Is this a normal arrangement? In this circumstance, would an appliance fitter...
