Straightening up doors

Hi

Agreed to do a wee job for a friends mum, just replace all the kitchen door hinges to soft closers, easy! She took all the doors off to paint them before I came

when I arrived with the new hinges I seen that the units were ******, they are over 10 years old and the holes for the hinges ripped open. I fired wood filler in all the cavity’s to try and harden them up

I attached hinge repair plates for extra support, but they still rely on using the old hole

but anyway I was just having...
