I’m trying to fit a new integrated fridge/freezer into an existing fitted kitchen cabinet.
The top wooden shelf in the cabinet, which goes over the top of the fridge/freezer, this needs to be moved back about 5-6mm. That top shelf has 4x cam locks +dowels, fixing the shelf to both left and right side walls.
I managed to get one cam lock out (not easy), to find the dowel underneath. I then proceeded to attempt to turn the dowel with some longnose pliers, trying to unscrew it from the side...
Can cam locks +dowels be dismantled in situ?
