I recently moved home and brought with me an oak worktop that was originally fitted between two walls as a desk. This has now been repurposed by a joiner in the new house by chopping it in two, joining it to make an L shape, and legs attached.
I originally asked the joiner to add batons to the wall to secure it in place, but he didn't do that. I've asked him to come back to fix that (at extra cost). Since the walls aren't true, one edge has an 18mm gap on one side and a smaller gap on...
