Hello,
I'm currently replacing a "parts no longer available" faulty gas hob.
To do this, I had to get a stone company to increase the depth of the opening (from front to back) from 48cm to 49 (width of 56cm was OK). This wasn't too difficult, as the front and rear parts of the area of the opening are two small pieces of granite, epoxy fixed to the full depth granite worktop pieces either side.
The worktop cutout is on top of a 900mm kitchen drawer unit.
The new depth is 49.4cm but the AEG...
