Looking ahead to getting my worktops in, they will be 38mm oak. Have a few questions.
1. They are unfinished on the edge - I plan to chamfer them with a router once joined. Does this mean I don't need to use a jig to join them and can/should just do straight butt joints?
2. For joining should I use biscuits, glue and clamps underneath? If so what type of glue is best for this (that won't react badly to oiling etc).
3. The sink will be top mounted. I have a 'woca' oil...
