I am hoping some clever people on here can help me.
Over the hob is a cupboard with an MDF door 570 x 810, top-hinged. Senior Management complains that it is too heavy to hold up while she lifts out cake tins etc, and the effects of gravity are too strong and the door slams down, trapping her fingers.
I've tried fitting a Hafele pneumatic piston thingy which was no help, so what sort of hinge or stay do I need so that the door can be lifted and stay in postion before being pulled back...
What sort of hinges/stays do I need here?
